"Accelerated training session that I highly recommend"

More productive than I ever could have imagined. I learned about so many tools I had ignored or overlooked. Often, we get so busy that we just need quick fixes, but this call was well worth the time since the new tools I learned about will save me loads of it in the future.

DesignFiles x Daniel House Club Contest
Last updated: Jun 5, 2026

1. Contest Overview

The DesignFiles x Daniel House Club Design Contest ("Contest") is a creative competition hosted by Olioboard.com Interaction Inc. ("DesignFiles") in collaboration with Daniel House Club ("Sponsor").

The Contest invites interior designers to create and submit original design concept boards featuring Daniel House Club products for a chance to win prizes and gain exposure within the design community.

2. Contest Period

The Contest begins at 8:00 AM EDT June 22, 2026 and ends at 11:59 PM EDT July 13, 2026 (the "Contest Period").

The Contest will run for three (3) consecutive weeks.

Entries submitted before or after this period will not be eligible.

3. Eligibility

  • This contest is open to residents of the continental United States, Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, and Canada who are at least 18 years of age at the time of entry. Void where prohibited by law.
  • Employees, contractors, and immediate family members of Daniel House Club and DesignFiles, as well as their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and any other parties associated with the development or administration of this contest, are not eligible to participate.
  • Contestants must have a DesignFiles account to participate. Existing DesignFiles members may use their current account. Designers who are not yet DesignFiles members may create a free account to enter the Contest.

4. How to Enter

Create or Use a DesignFiles Account
Participants must have a DesignFiles account to enter. Existing DesignFiles members may use their current account. New participants may create a free account.

Create a Design
Each contestant must create a concept board using the DesignFiles Moodboard Editor.

Product Requirement
Each design entry must include at least five (5) products from the Daniel House Club collection.

Entries per Person
Contestants may submit multiple entries, provided each meets all entry requirements.

AI Render Credits
Each contestant receives 150 free AI Render Credits to enhance their entries using DesignFiles' photorealistic rendering tool. Use of external AI tools or platforms to generate or enhance contest submissions is not permitted.

Rendering is optional. However, if you choose to render your design:

  • Your final rendered image must be a direct visual representation of your original DesignFiles moodboard or room mockup
  • The layout, furniture selection, and overall design composition must remain consistent with your original board
  • AI rendering may be used to improve realism (lighting, materials, depth), but not to introduce new design elements, alter layouts, or reinterpret the space. Changing the colour, fabric or finish from the original items on the board is acceptable.

Submissions where the final rendered image differs materially from the original design board will be disqualified.

Example of acceptable use:
A rendered image that clearly reflects the same layout, products, and design decisions as the original board, with enhanced realism.

First example of acceptable AI rendering use

Second example of acceptable AI rendering use

Examples of unacceptable use:

  • A rendered image that introduces new furniture, layouts, or styling not present in the original board
  • A rendered image generated primarily by an external AI platform
  • A final image that no longer reflects the designer's original board

Entries that do not meet these criteria may be disqualified at DesignFiles' sole discretion.

5. Voting and Judging

Public Voting
Voting will take place throughout the 3-week Contest Period.

  • Voters must sign in using a DesignFiles, Google, or Facebook account to verify identity and prevent fraudulent voting.
  • Each voter may cast one vote per design per day, but may vote for multiple designs.
  • Any attempt to manipulate the voting system (e.g., creating fake accounts, using bots, or incentivizing false votes) will result in disqualification.

Judging Round
After public voting closes, the top 15 most-voted designs will advance to the judging round.

The judge may also select one "Wild Card" entry at their discretion to recognize outstanding creativity and originality.

A guest judge selected by Daniel House Club will evaluate these top entries based on:

  • Creativity and originality
  • Use of Daniel House Club products
  • Overall design aesthetic and presentation

The judge will select:

  • 1st Place Winner – $2,000 Gift Card
  • 2nd Place Winner – $1,000 Gift Card
